This policy covers the public information website and enquiries. The separate software data flows are explained below. Public hosting and push subscriptions are not currently available through this website.

2. Visiting this website

We process your IP address and the connection data needed to deliver requested pages to your browser. This may include the requested URL, time, browser information and HTTP headers. The website is hosted on a server at Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. See Hetzner’s privacy policy for its information.

Routine Nginx access logs, request-related Nginx error logs and access logs for this route in the reverse proxy are disabled. Necessary connection data is processed while delivering the site. Separate infrastructure security and operational processing by the hosting provider is governed by its information.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website.

3. Cookies, resources and demo

This website sets no cookies, uses no visitor analytics, and writes nothing to local or session storage. Fonts, images and scripts are served locally. No advertising, external video, social media or analytics services are embedded.

The conversation demo displays fixed fictional examples. Your selection exists only in the open page’s memory and disappears on reload. No input is sent to an agent or AI provider. Screenshots contain purpose-made fictional data only.

4. Email and test enquiries

Email links open your email application. We receive your email address, message, and any name or attachments you provide only when you choose to send an email. We use them to respond to your enquiry, with technical email providers involved in transmission and storage. There is no automated waiting list or newsletter.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. Providing information is voluntary; without contact details we cannot reply. Correspondence is deleted when the matter is resolved and no further retention reason applies. Legal obligations and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims may require longer retention. Do not send passwords, bot tokens, private keys or unnecessary private conversations.

5. The separate AdHoc software

This landing page does not connect to a chat instance. In the separate web or Apple client, you choose a messenger server and sign in there. That server processes accounts, authentication, messages, files, conversation associations and interactions. Its operator is responsible for explaining its processing. Using the software alone does not send your chat contents to the operator of this information website.

Messages and files are stored in the chosen server’s database. Connected bots receive contents and interactions addressed to them and may use external services or AI models. Review their providers before sharing personal information. HTTPS protects transport on properly configured instances. End-to-end encryption is not implemented; server operators with data access and participating bots can read contents.

The web client uses a session cookie and local preferences or drafts. The native app stores its session in the device Keychain and retrieves contents from the chosen server. These are behaviours of the separate chat application, not this website. Ask your instance operator about retention, backups, deletion and export. Uninstalling a client does not delete server-side history.

6. Planned services

Official hosting, push services, store subscriptions and public test distribution remain in preparation. Before public activation we will add the applicable providers, data categories, purposes, legal bases, retention and any international transfers. Implemented preparation does not imply an available public service.

7. External links

External websites are contacted only when you follow a link. Their providers are responsible for their processing. This site’s Referrer-Policy prevents sending a referring-page header.

8. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. You may withdraw consent for the future where processing relies on consent. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Contact contact@jandeboer.de.

You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, especially where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred. One option is the Baden-Württemberg data protection authority. This website does not use profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

We update this policy when the website or available services change. Its current scope is indicated by the date above.
